Meloni in the Chamber: "No to isolating Israel". The opposition: "What is our foreign policy?"

“We are not in favor of suspending collaboration agreements with Israel and we are not alone. Not that I want to ignore what is happening in Gaza but I think that contributing to the isolation of Israel , which has always been the goal of Islamic fundamentalism and Hamas, could open up catastrophic scenarios ”. This, among other things, is what Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni pointed out to the Chamber , in her communications on the next EU Council . And she added: “I think it would be counterproductive to take initiatives that would end up closing every channel of dialogue with Israel, just when I think this dialogue could lead to results on the ceasefire in Gaza. And I think that people are saved not by words and demonstrations but by facts and I want to focus on facts. It is a fact that also thanks to our pragmatic positions we are one of the nations in the world that has been able to help the population of Gaza the most”.
